The Mares Chase was run under standard time.
March 14, 2025 at 15:08 #1723823Added Banbridge free bet. Will like the ground.
March 14, 2025 at 15:11 #1723826It looks decent jumping ground , I’ll stick with JPs 2 , I watched Cromwells horses last run again last night ,really eye catching and we know he loves Cheltenham , if GDC is going to get beat then he’s the likeliest to win in my eyes , Corbett cross may struggle when the tap gets turned on but he will likely be one of the strongest finishers , done f/c and t/c behind GDC
March 14, 2025 at 15:30 #1723835Monty’s Star at 12-1 is my main bet, and I’ve also gone with Corbetts Cross at 14-1
March 14, 2025 at 15:35 #1723838Come on Galopin des Champs
Make or break the week for me.
March 14, 2025 at 15:43 #1723840Willie going for a record 11 Festival winners and a triple gold cup winner all at once.
He can piss us off at times with his switches and 100/1 triumph winners lol but he’s in a league of his own regards training and purchasing horses.
March 14, 2025 at 15:46 #1723841Gavin Cromwell in his blog…
“We’re hoping it’ll be well-watered because if it dries out and it’s bordering on good being in the description then we may not run him.”If Cromwell was telling the truth then Inothewayurthinkin would have taken him out.
This horse should be renamed Noydontnonwatimtinkn.
Value Is EverythingMarch 14, 2025 at 15:48 #1723842Inotheurthinkin 8/1 WIN
Corbetts Cross 14/1 EWBut, good luck to GDC and all his backers. I have no interest in the horse, but I’d love to see a triple GC winner.
March 14, 2025 at 15:49 #1723844GM23: the problem is that Willie has so many horses, he doesn’t know one from the other. After the Triumph Hurdle, he was interviewed by Lydia Hislop and stated that Poniros was gelded after his arrival at Closutton (the horse was gelded in July last year, when still with Ralph Beckett) and that the horse “might” have schooled once last week.
The post-race interviews are normally put up on RTV’s Youtube channel, if you want to watch, by the way.
March 14, 2025 at 15:50 #1723845My picks:
Banbridge 9/1
Inothewayurthinkin 10/1
Montys Star 18/1March 14, 2025 at 15:52 #1723847I’m on Monty’s Star since last year but I really really want Galopin to win.
March 14, 2025 at 15:53 #1723848Banbridge and Ahoy Senor for the win.
Monty’s and Ino to finish second to…Value Is EverythingMarch 14, 2025 at 15:53 #1723849I just hope GDC stands up and gets his chance at the end.
This is the first time where he hasn’t got his preferred going so it’s going to be interesting. I still think Bravemansgame would have given him a hell of a race 2 years ago had he gotten this kind of ground.
March 14, 2025 at 16:00 #1723851True GM but instead the race finished BMG …
March 14, 2025 at 16:08 #1723852wd winners. Impressive.
March 14, 2025 at 16:09 #1723853Well done winners.
That piece of s**t AHOY SENOR should be banned from racing. A danger to all involved.
March 14, 2025 at 16:09 #1723854Won it fair and square well done to the winners
