Ditch the Juvenile hcp and have a few big money sellers!

    Great news in my opinion.

It’s almost impossible to better the racing at Cheltenham, but if anything will, then it will be added prize money. I can’t wait for that ‘showcase’ meeting to start, signalling another great season ahead for Cheltenham and jump racing alike.

rubbish, mikky mo. I dont know of any horse that missed Cheltenham this year because the prize money wasn’t enough.

Well, it’s not like every single race outside of the Festival was oversubscribed….

I never said any horse did miss Cheltenham because prize money wasn’t enough did I? I am not taking about the festival alone here you know, or did you not read the actual article WW.

The point I was making is that this extra £400,000 prize money is to be added across all Cheltenham’s fixtures, not just the festival – so if a £10,000 race suddenly becomes a high profile £30,000 race then will this not attract a better field?

On the evidence of some of their novice chase fields, perhaps not.
