“The question will be is does the GC leave a mark on Gaelic , I don’t believe he had a hard race but the stats don’t lie , the race finishes plenty horses”
Cumulative effect of several hard races, maybe, and he’s been on the go since he was 3 years and 2 weeks old. It’s a while since a 9yo won. Still, he’s tough, and German bred like the last 9yo winner (Don Cossack)
March 14, 2026 at 16:37 #1759981Big question is he away for him he season or running at Punchestown
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 15, 2026 at 22:37 #1760185HDLG, you don’t know if he might need him at Sandown. Though I think the Trainers’ Title is almost impossible to win.
March 21, 2026 at 17:52 #176066212/1 The New Lion stayers
if he can blend his speed with his stamina would take all the beating in the stayers. The form against Final Demand over 2 and a half isn’t as bad as it looks now after not looking great for a while after looking okay originally, if that makes sense…

March 25, 2026 at 00:09 #1760901Only one bet for me at this stage. Usually have a few, but one will do
Few on the radar though
Sober Glory – Blown away by him, and I’d love to see him to see him up in trip, if he’s going over a fence. He’s high in the market for The Arkle, but that’s one of the few races I’m not interested in, so don’t want a long range Antepost in it. Hopefully see him at Aintree
Air of Entitlement – She’s just very good, and on my mind for The Stayers
Jingko Blue – Fabulous run in The MGM Cup, and another I’ll keep a close eye wherever he goes
Kappa Jy Pyke – Loved his last run, and hoping Fairyhouse can give a clue was to where he’ll head
Honesty Policy – Didn’t see too much wrong with his run in The Stayers, and interesting for next year. I think 25’s is a very fair price. I might have to take that if he gets an entry in Liverpool Hurdle, which I really like him for
Meetmebythesea – Didn’t give him a second look, but I thought he won well, and that 100’s for The Gold Cup looks crazy. The 33’s is mad for The Ryanair too, but this far out, I’ll take the 100’s

April 5, 2026 at 10:33 #1762116BANC Ksar Fatal 66-1
Looks a nice future chasing type. He has some interesting rivals in the Paddy Kehoe G2 novices hurdle at Fairyhouse today and I’m also interested in Saint Baco for next season including BANC but he has had a torrid enough time the last 2 runs (bit like Grangeclare West in his hurdling year) so just KF for now.
April 7, 2026 at 21:48 #1762293He’s on Fire looked very good again, unlikely to stay hurdling next season I’d have thought. Possible the Browns Advisory but not sure if 12’s is that good a price for a horse with so few runs. Likely to run again at Punchestown and I’ll probably tickle him for the BANC before that if the vibes are good. I see they are comparing him to Gaelic Warrior. I’d say he looks a lot more straight forward.

April 26, 2026 at 13:15 #1764921One ap bet for me, and it’s Kawaboomga for The Stayers Hurdle at 40/1
April 29, 2026 at 19:13 #1765293FTF had a long enough time off the track but even so it looks nailed on them targeting the Ryanair after today. Still 6/1
