Chelsea don’t lose at home in the premiership, but as a follower of the Reds my foolish prediction is 1-0 Liverpool.

October 26, 2008 at 14:53 #186586A win for Chelsea but I’m not having any money on it. I think that Chelsea will make it difficult for Liverpool to score and will win quite comfortably.

October 26, 2008 at 14:57 #186587Morning all, well having been a mile out yesterday
it’s revenge time today. It is not beyond the realms of impossibilty that that the Reds can get something from this, and of course the ardent supporters will assume that also, Nathan i hope it comes off for you but i will be doing 2-1 Both ways obviously for yor sake hoping it is an away win.
Cheers.
Adrian.
October 26, 2008 at 18:07 #186614No point in sitting on the fence, so I’ll forecast Chelsea 1 – Liverpool 3 (although I couldn’t tip a wheelbarrow at the moment).
October 26, 2008 at 20:30 #186624Well done to Nathan
who i’m sure will now celebrate with a Cider or three.Cheers.
Adrian.
October 27, 2008 at 02:20 #186688Thanks Adrian.
I would of been delighted with a draw today so I’m over the moon with the win and starting to get a little optimistic for the season ahead although it’s still only early days.
A cider or three would of been great unfortunately only had diet coke in fridge

October 28, 2008 at 17:57 #186863Liverpool’s next 13 league fixtures are
Portsmouth (H)
Tottenham (A)
West Brom (H)
Bolton (A)
Fulham (H)
West Ham (H)
Blackburn (A)
Hull (H)
Bolton (H)
Newcastle (A)
Stoke (A)
Everton (H)
Wigan (A)With the possible exception of the Everton match (17-Jan-09), there’s not really any fixtures there which would frighten anybody and if Liverpool are realistic title contenders this season, they should be taking at least 30+ points from those 13 games (allow for 1 defeat and 3 draws at worst)
They are probably worth a back-to-lay bet at the current odds
(with thanks to tooting for the strategy!)
