    Charlie Swan to retire from training at end of January citing amongst other reasons "too hard to make it pay"

    The domination of the big yards will mean more of the smaller yards disappearing soon.

    Its a sad fact Diamond …in Ireland things are a lot tougher

    I hope he manages to stay within the game , he was a fantastic jockey and by all accounts is a true Gent
