    Every year without fail I watch this on the eve of the Grand National , Carl Davis score is one of the best written for a sporting film , how Bob came through the chemo to win is still one racing best ever stories

    Fantastic score HDLG brings tears to my eyes as soon as the first few bars begin to play…Aldaniti who played himself in the film survived career ending injuries to bring Bob Champion home that day.
    One of the best and most heartlifting Grand National stories ever and Bob still dining out on the tale to this day. :rose: Jac

    Totally agree, the score is just wonderful and will always transport me to Aintree on National Day as soon as I hear it. Shame it doesn’t seem to be used as much in the TV coverage these days.
