Calling beckster….[re Nipper’s half brother]

Have just been told that Mr Hales has got a half brother to Neptune Collonges that is supposed to be a very exciting prospect…does anyone know anything about him?

Not sure about that but the Potts’ (of Sizing Europe fame) have Royal Collonges a four year old whom I think is a half brother.
Maybe it’s him??

I bet it is; perhaps they weren’t sure who owned it, or I misunderstood what they told me [more likely!]

Royal Collonges is at Paul Nicholls, he has had 1 run at Pau 23/12/08 was 3rd. And is owned by the Potts.
Alison Thorpe has another half brother Olmeto Collonges a 7yr old Brown gelding, last ran Aug ’09.
Quadrette Collonges(full sister to Royal Collonges) a half sister 5yr old grey mare,ran yesterday at Auteuil trained by M. Rolland.. was 2nd, has had 10 runs once out of the frame.
There is another half sister, trained in France, but not been on course since Dec ’07 ..

Quadrette Collonges is a horse I’ve been following for a while – like Racingukgirl mentions she’s super consistent with her only run out of the frame being in a 105,000euro listed ‘chase on her penultimate start. She’ll continue to do well if they can keep her to the smaller ‘chases and hurdle races around Auteuil and Enghien. Very exciting horse.

12 Runs 6 Wins 5 Places for a total of 239,420euro’s in prize money is her current record.

hiya people long time no c………. yea they were sent dvd of nippers half brother but they didunt buy him cant remember why?? however yea apparently it is still being trained at pauls but cant remember who brought him? however we do have alot of new ones this time round. x

thanx moe yea nipper n nobby both on the mend fingers crossed…. they are both in the field with azza both crazy boxing eachother and gallopin about, blue is the main one this season all the rest are new ones apart from 1 0r 2 who av done a bit of p2p x

Hi Beckster,

I don,t know if Nipper has a good sense of humour, but you might get a horse laugh from him by telling him that some bookmakers are still quoting him at 25/1 for the King George this season.
