Burnham has now reneged on stopping large funding to political parties by outside organisations/people I believe. Seems to me he is taking the credit for many good things instigated by the Starmer government but backtracking on the promises that got him the leadership eg privatising water companies.

Where did you see that, Moehat?

Whilst Burnham reneging on previous pledges would come as no surprise whatsoever, I cannot see this particular story on any reputable website.

This was published last night. It’s not been featured particularly prominently, had to go digging through my history to find it.

    Thanks, Richard.

As I said, I am not exactly surprised that Burnham has backtracked. Let’s see what happens to his long-held support for voting reform next week.

Try reading and taking in what the MAC says instead of applying ideology.

You described it as ‘a (sic) article on illegal immigration’ and then quote asylum and refugee routes. Which of these is illegal?
