Anybody got any thoughts on this highly competitive handicap? Personally, I fancy Fanatstic View to run into at least a place. An easy winner of the Autumn Stakes and 2nd in the RP Trophy at 2, connections were said to be delighted with his return run at Ascot in the Hunt Cup last time out after a near 3-year lay off. He’s also running off 97 today, which is 16lbs lower than how he was rated as a 3-y-o.
I see that Tom Segal of Pricewise has selected Fantastic View. I studied this race for a long while this morning and came to the conclusion that Munaddam had a decent chance only to discover that he was a non runner
After another look, I am quite keen on Dabbers Ridge who looks a 7 furlong specialist and won the Totesport Intern’l at Ascot last year on fast ground. He likes to race prominently which could be an advantage from draw 18. An outsider with a chance imo is Jedburgh.
