June 1, 2009 at 21:57 #231447Looks good!
I bet Peter Bowen’s horsebox is breathing a sigh of releif!!!June 1, 2009 at 21:59 #231449Yes, best of luck to them.
It seems a very professional set up and the facilities and setting look brilliant.
Let’s hope it is a huge success.
June 1, 2009 at 22:45 #231460Looks good and should be better in a few years when it has bedded in and expanded the facilities should the demand grow.
Its ideal for a Galway style of meeting, something like a 3 day mixed meeting in May,August,September time.
This track is going places and will benefit Wales no problem.

I bet Peter Bowen’s horsebox is breathing a sigh of releif!!!And bang goes that old quiz question:
"What is the nearest racecourse to Peter Bowen’s yard?"
Everyone says "Chepstow", but apparently it’s Wexford. Not for much longer mind.

A year or two later and I think the financial viability of this enterprise may have been severely compromised.
