    Fair call, that Americanian sort of track experience could be useful. I don’t like the form that messrs Boughey and Watson are in coming into this so Bradsell and Believing were no bets for me. Hard not to like Cogburn so I put him in a doobla with Thorpedo Anna race after.

    What was Cogburn’s jockey doing? He had no chance of lasting home going at that pace. An absolutely crazy ride.

    Big Evs was my main bet but was on Starlust at 22s and 28s also. What a thrilling finish.

    I think Big Evs is the unlucky horse though. If they’d have gotten away first time I think he’d have won.

    Kimpton does it again.
    Beckett is now right up with Gosden and Haggas as the best three British trainers… And the only one of the three who’s had a comparatively good season.
