Well done Jac just one point separating the top four

The more I know the less I understand.
November 3, 2025 at 10:25 #1743722Goodness that’s a bunch finish! Well done Jac for getting the bob at the right time

Thanks to RedRum for running the competition.
November 3, 2025 at 10:42 #1743723Thanks RTB and Illavim..😃
I don’t usually win photo finishes and as it was sooo close I did go back and check my points as Ive been away this weekend.
Over the moon to win this but I reckon there’s 4 places on the Podium this year lllavim … goodfellow, yourself and green have played a terrific game… not forgetting Rob of course. Really well done all.
Jac ✨️👏Big thanks to Neil for doing this, it must have been a headbanger to score.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 3, 2025 at 10:50 #1743725With 3 points separating the top 4 I only think it’s fair to honour Greenasgrass.

The result surprised me too, well done to the top 4.
Also how do the RAYMO’s do it.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.November 3, 2025 at 12:15 #1743729Not surprised at my final position. Absolutely rubbish tipping.
Many thanks though RR77 for running the comp.
November 3, 2025 at 13:26 #1743735Well done Jac
That performance on day two with two winners and seven places out of ten is pretty phenomenal
Also well done to the other three high scores top stuff guys
I am so happy not to finish bottom and it was good fun and well done Neil for running it Good job!!
November 3, 2025 at 15:54 #1743747wd Tripytch. Thanks Red Rum 77 for running.
November 3, 2025 at 15:56 #1743748“That was fun, if it’s all right with people hope to do the same for the Cheltenham Festival, but dropping my Ante Post comp.”
I like your Cheltenham ante post comp Red Rum 77. Raymos, aren’t you running these comps any more?
November 3, 2025 at 18:22 #1743760Thanks Mike and Raymo..👍😃
Neil..with all due respect I think the Raymo’s have hosted the Cheltenham Festival competition and quite a few others this year. Could we not wait and see if they are up for hosting the next one as I remember it was most enjoyable for all concerned and it’s quite a slog for one person to mark up for 5 consecutive days. I struggled helping out for just the one day a few times.
Jac

November 3, 2025 at 20:34 #1743771I think you’re probably right Jac, it’s tough just picking the selections never mind scoring them.

Don't mess with mister in between.November 3, 2025 at 21:47 #1743775Thanks green and Bobby That was certainly an exciting photo finish..the difference between a 2/1 shot winning and a 9/ 4 would have swung it.

Neil you do a grand job with your comps and your a formidable player at best of times, enjoy doing what you do best and good luck.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...November 4, 2025 at 00:12 #1743778That was close but well done Jac, you showed how shrewed a judge
you are and it seemed the right way to end with your beloved flat
over for another season. Going out in a blaze of glory
Thanks Neil for running this one, even though it was the most
abysmal attempt by me (E-) it was a still a great meeting.
November 4, 2025 at 09:03 #1743807Well done Jac, win it next year and you get to keep the cup,..

Thanks Neil..

November 4, 2025 at 12:17 #1743821Well done Jac on topping the table, and hard luck to Goodfellow, Illavim and Greenasgrass following in what was a very tight contest.
Given that this is the ultimate ‘finger in the air’ exercise for me I was quite chuffed to finish fifth, albeit ‘kept on at one pace’ some way behind the first 4!
Thanks RedRum77 for organising the competition.
November 5, 2025 at 16:23 #1743916Cheers Rob
If next year’s competition is as close as this one they better get a bigger Podium..🏆📶 🤪Well done coming in 5th Rob you were 4 points ahead of me on Day 1 it could have gone either way. For my Day 2 choices it was literally the luck of the draw at Del Mar. I took Frankie D’s advice and kept with the low draws up to 1 mile where I could

Nathan..That sounds a tough task but if you promise to fill it to the top with champers I’ll have a good bash at it🤣😅😂🍾🥂
Used to love it when we competed against Talking Horses in this comp…I think we’d have run away with the prize this year with the high standard of scoring.
Miss those days with the late great Diamond Geezer.✨️ JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out... - AuthorPosts
