Get ya. Looking at the race the sponsors must have been gutted with such a poor turn out given the new programme and bonus they have set out.

I love the horse but sub 3/1 for the CH is madness.

Any ideas why Iktitaf is 10/1+ on the exchanges and only 7’s with the bookie chaps?? I’m tempted to go in at that price but am always wary that someone knows something….

I’d agree with the analysis overleaf to the effect that given the crawling pace, any resemblance to the Champion Hurdle is incidental.
I’d also say that O’Dwyer gave HE a strange ride, allowing the winner first run off the slow pace it set. I’m not talking through my pocket as I left what was effectively a 2 horse race well alone- the sponsors must be appalled at the poor turnout for the second most valuable hurdle in the UK calendar.
Remembering that DC was getting 4lb off the second and they would meet at levels at the festival, DC has certainly bucked the trend of 4 year old hurdlers and become a major contender for championship honours. However Ladbrokes must be having a laugh at quoting 5/2F ante post
