Aside from a few bookie promos i reckon that’s a wrap.
Probably around £250 down in N/R’s up to now assuming no major disasters over the next couple of days. Aside from Champagne Classic not running, no major disasters with horses who had a realistic chance of winning.
For some reason the first day has always the quietest betting day. Not sure where things are at the minute but probably the next 3 will easily be the biggest since i started this thing.
As normal i don’t think i will do my brains in, if i break even i will be happy and any winning will be a total bonus.

Us And Them £40 win @ 20/1 NRNB & £10 EW 16/1 BOG 4 places ArkleA tricky old race this one. Actually first backed PB last April and after that first run thought he was doomed. Second run i think he would of beaten Reel Steel which looks better now, but just a shame he never ran at the Irish Festival where he was really well backed for that race La Richebourg won.
U&T started of as a potential free bet @ about 6 or 8/1 to be honest. But the more you look at it he looks massively under rated. Really think he will appreciate soft ground so quite keen now especially EW @ 4 places. Not a clue what i am going to do with this race yet.

Think King Gordon has had a few discussions with the handicapper about this one. Went straight in the notebook after he fell in the Drinmore. Probably that was the best Novice race run this year.His last run could also look quite a bit better than it looked at the time.
Might just leave this one as he has a good chance of winning this.

Started off with pretty strong NRNB bets on Cut the Mustard, Acapella Bourgois and Saglawy and none of them run now. Backed Wicklow Brave yesterday just because he was one of the only ones running. After the Champion Hurdle result his last run looks proper good now.

A shame Great Field fell early on at Cork this year, but regardless of that he totally destroyed a pretty decent field in the style of a proper good horse. Seriously i think without a doubt he is a massively better horse on Soft ground than what he has shown on his last two runs. I would certainly expect him to give Min or Footpad a hard race.
