I am growing tired of making the journey to my town bookmakers.
As a I.T. dinosaur I what to keep
things simple i.e. telephone account. Could anyone give me a
recommendation please.
Many thanks.Even an IT dinosaur can’t go wrong with the bookies’ apps. As long as you own a smartphone, download the apps- gives you far more choice than limiting yourself to a couple of phone accounts, which are in decline.
Use to have one with Ladbrokes many, many years ago
the time it took to give them my details and then for them to find the bet I wanted to place the race was over

Switching from betting shop to phone account in 2022 is like switching from Betamax to VHS videos – both became obsolete years ago.
Smartphone>apps>online accounts – it’s the way forward.

Perhaps I should move into the
modern era. Can you transfer money into an account rather than use a debit card for each transaction. I do so worry about
using card.I have a separate bank card for online transactions
Helps me with discipline as once that has gone I have to top it up at Nationwide, makes it hard to chase losses and if you get hacked or whatever the internet fraud thing is you are only losing what you have on that card

Bet365 do the best opening offer – £100 in free bets once you’ve bet £100 it was when I joined and they do loads of offers.
Until you consistently win, that is.

He was walking his cow who he is hoping to sell at the market and use the money to set up the telephone account
