Died at home in Barbados aged 17 – colic. A most beautiful horse. I saw him run at Wetherby and watched him parade before the race. He stopped right in front of me and stood staring into the distance so I got a good long close look. I believe his lass could see how completely overwhelmed I was. You hear the phrase ‘look of eagles’ and that’s what I thought there. A very special moment that I’ll never forget. Beautiful, but he had a kind face as well. So happy that he was loved and had a good retirement.
