Sad news.
MrE has “posted” in the “Systems Section” that Bill passed away on the 14/12/2020.
Rest in peace dear Bill.
December 28, 2020 at 10:49 #1515596Very sad news indeed.. A forum Legend has gone to a better place
Bill was the life blood of the system section of this forum for a long time and will be missed greatly
Some good memories that I won’t forget were the times that myself and MrE use to post a lot of nonsense and a bit of a mickey take towards Bill who would take it all in the good spirit and the harmless fun that it was.
Very humble guy who was joint poster of the year in 2011
Rest in peace Bill…

December 28, 2020 at 13:05 #1515615Aaaaw man, this is sad news.
Always enjoyed many a chat with him, and he was the stalwart of Systems who took time to show an interest when I gave the systems a go. A very likeable guy.
I don’t have to say he’ll be missed, as he was already missed on here.
RIP Bill
December 29, 2020 at 17:02 #1515811That is dreadfully sad news Matron. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
I do remember coming up against his wicked sense of humour several times especially in Nathan’s TRF Poem of the year contest. He could certainly spin a yarn.
RIP Billion

Bill rarely venture far from the system section of the forum where he was a specialistCharles Darwin to conquer the World
January 1, 2021 at 01:05 #1515949Billion showed his moodiness and frustration in interesting ways which made him a draw in my eyes. He was a unique poster and had a big following mainly because of his angles on life and his perceptions. He was mainly himself. I am sorry to hear of his passing and will miss him. If I was mistaken for him I consider it an honour.
January 1, 2021 at 03:07 #1515959Bill was one of the greats
an irreplaceable poster
with his down to earthiness
life insights
and quirky off the wall humour
We shall all miss.Ward Seven will not recover.
