Is nobody bothering to read the form book…or why is itchy feet been such as drifter?
Precious cargo has beaten precious little.
Aramons cheltenham run was blamed on soft ground.SHL
April 5, 2019 at 12:56 #1416252My selection is ROUGE VIF who scooted round Kelso to win the Premier Hurdle in impressive fashion. He was immediately aimed at this contest on a course which should suit well, and softened ground not likely to be a problem.
Kelso form could show up very well here as Winston C came with a late burst to win a competitive handicap hurdle there last time and would not be out of it if he repeats that level of form.
April 5, 2019 at 13:02 #1416255Itchy Feet bled in the Supreme and they wanted better ground for him. He stayed on up the hill past beaten rivals, this easier track not likely to suit as much either?
April 5, 2019 at 13:05 #1416257There’s no way I’d touch a horse that bled enough to be visible at the nose racing only a few weeks later. That doesn’t clear out of the lungs overnight and I wouldn’t care to run a bleeder on soft ground for its next race either.
April 5, 2019 at 13:13 #1416261Easier track might be an issue.
I think that rest is a bit speculative. Aramon has been very dissapointing on soft ground a few times. I like a few of the others but I think the price on Aramon is getting wrong.SHL
