I placed a £10 each way bet at 7/1 this evening 1/5 odds and the horse came 2nd at 9/1. That would mean a £28 return but they have only returned £24. The race was definitely best odds guaranteed so I queried this matter.
The response was that they settle the best odds difference at 10 am the next morning. So essentially I should receive an extra £4 tomorrow. I’ve never seen that with any other company and I have my suspicions with this company after a couple of bets they settled as losers when they won.
They overturned those mistakes after I complained but I thought I better keep an eye on them in future.I guess I will just have to wait and see tomorrow but is anyone here accustomed to that being the case?
November 4, 2015 at 20:23 #1220377There were bad reports of them on the Betfair forum a few weeks ago, particularly if you happened to win and tried to withdraw your money, you might find the posts if you search for them on there.
You shouldn’t have to suffer that sort of nonsense if you have a bet, sadly there’s no proper bookmakers left, just a shame racing has to depend on them for an income.
November 4, 2015 at 20:24 #1220378Hi Chivers, They do pay it the following day I also rang up but then noticed in the t&c, I had £250 on a 4/1 shot and it ended up 5/1 the extra £250 was in the account the day after, however what I have read about betway mainly them making it difficult to withdraw your money I decide to withdraw it (had no problem myself) and stopped using them. The advice I read was not to use any bonus offers with them.
November 4, 2015 at 20:29 #1220380Sweet. Thanks guys.
The worry was only because of previous mistakes but I haven’t encountered a problem with them that hasn’t been handled/sorted quickly.
