    I always used to be really good with these type of races, which is why it’s important to me to dig out the winner. Because the declarations are out so early it’s a bit like watching a soap opera unfold. If you look at the comments on his previous races he’s got quite an engine and has only ever ran one bad race. But you can’t put your mortgage on a horse that could easily be pulled out at the last minute or break down after 100 yards.It’s a Cl1 at Ascot that he’s entered in so they must thing a lot of him. Owner has a fair number of horses with the trainer and they’re probably worth keeping an eye on. Of course, we’ll never know how Fun Mac and the Godolphin horse would have fared but that adds to the intrigue.
