If they can sort out his keenness I’m with no ordinary Joe @ 14s
January 14, 2022 at 11:46 #1577957Well I backed Good Risk At All at 33s and 16s. I’ll let you know when it stops becoming a sore subject
January 16, 2022 at 13:33 #1578358I’ve went with Fifty Ball here 25-1, along with Glory and Fortune 22-1. Fifty Ball is ew, Glory and Fortune is Ron only
January 16, 2022 at 18:33 #1578416Didn’t want an early Antepost here, but at the current odds, Boothill is quite interesting at 25’s.
I think he looks very well treated, and on the verge of betting him.
January 17, 2022 at 16:28 #1578502There,s a handicap in Fifty ball , not taken to fences , he,s a horse who finished in front of edwardstone ( to be fair getting a chunk of weight ) in this last year , he’s a cracking e.w bet
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026

February 7, 2022 at 06:48 #1581908Another Fifty Ball fan here!
Gets to race off the same mark in this as when finishing 2nd last year. If Soaring Glory does try to defend his crown he’s a stone worse off for that 3 length win..
Plenty of winning form this season from those in behind….Edwardstone, Buzz, Guard Your Dreams etc…
Recent form of Gary Moore another big plus…what’s not to like?
February 7, 2022 at 10:37 #1581923My ew 2…
Broomfield Burg 17-2. 5 places.
Onemorefortheroad 12-1. Free bet.February 7, 2022 at 11:24 #1581928I really like the look of Washington for this and hope he is entered
Has run in 3 small field tactical races and raced too keenly
Could easily be well treated off 127 in a race that should suit better
February 7, 2022 at 12:53 #1581932Washington wasn’t declared, FF.
I really like Tritonic. Readily excused his last run which came just a week after his very impressive, and easy, handicap victory at Ascot. He relished the furious pace which he’s surely going to get again here. The extra 5lbs wouldn’t have stopped him that day. King stable form doesn’t really bother me as he is a capable target trainer with his good ones (except at Cheltenham). 16/1 (yesterday) each way looks very fair.
February 7, 2022 at 13:13 #1581935I was quite keen on Knappers Hill but even Nicholls has admitted there is something not right with his horses at the moment.
February 7, 2022 at 13:30 #1581936Shame the free bet won’t give me a run. However, happy enough with a strongly fancied Nicky Henderson JP Mcmanus runner on side
February 7, 2022 at 14:09 #1581943I’ll have an early bet on Boothill, though at half the 25’s, when I first looked at him.
Really like Knappers Hill too, but definitely just the one here. I won’t bet another here, though if Boothill declares, and he’s a bigger price, I’ll certainly top up.
Boothill 12’s
February 7, 2022 at 14:41 #1581950I’m not sure how strong a lot of these novices look this year
Soaring glory and tritonic are tempting me
At only 4lb and 5lb higher than when winning handicaps easily im strongly considering dutching them
February 7, 2022 at 15:17 #1581956Have taken 7s soaring glory and 14s tritonic
February 7, 2022 at 17:06 #1581974Got a horrible feeling he is not going to run but Glory & Fortune @ 25’s on the exchange could be one of the best prices i have seen for a good while.
Watched his last race back a few times now and thought he tanked through the race and might of got really close to Epetante if not for flattening the second last flight.
Granted Not so sleepy was not on a going day and maybe it was just a bit of a fluke but it is certainly a strange old price that.
February 7, 2022 at 19:32 #1582017Wow NH racing is in a mess if they can only attract 16 at not even the declaration stage for a race like this and not a single taker from Ireland and not a single horse rated above 150. A couple of interesting sorts still there but this won’t take as much winning as it usually does.
