To celebrate the launch of their innovative new site which auctions bets on sporting events Betbidder.com have kindly offered 75 free bids (approx value £50) to the winner of this simple (and free) competition.
Entering is easy – just post what you think the winning distance in Saturday’s Victor Chandler Chase will be.
A nose will count as 0.1 lengths
A short head 0.2 lengths
A head 0.3 lengths
A neck 0.4 lengthsAll other distances as per the distance quoted in the Racing Post result.
Your score will be the total you were away from the actual winning distance (so, if you said two lengths and the result is half a length your score would be 1 1/2 lengths)
We’ll do the same next week, add the aggregates together and the winner is the one with the lowest aggregate. In the event of a tie we’ll have a play-off the following week.
(NB: To claim your prize you’ll need to open an account with betbidder.com)
Let me know if any queries.
Here’s some info from Betbidder.com
Hi to all the members on The Racing Forum – we’re delighted to sponsor this competition and to let you know a little about betbidder.com, a site which we believe offers some benefits that are quite unique
Here is a little summary.
Upon registration a player will receive £50 Free cash which they can use to purchase auction items.
New players are awarded 13 Free bids to play. You do not need to make any payment or give credit card details to avail of these free bids.
We run bid refund auctions twice daily at 10.30am and 7.15pm.These auctions are ideal for beginners to get used to the site as all players in these auctions receive a full refund of all bids used in these auctions. So effectively a new player who only plays in bid refund auctions would never lose their 13 free bids and have the chance to win cash every day.The bid refund auctions are really a free trial where new players can experience the excitement and develop their skills without any financial risk.On final point is that bid refund auctions have a bid limit of 25 bids so it gives new players a great chance of winning.
Players only pay for the auction if the event is successful. So if an auction was £100 for Kauto Start to win the King George and the auction price was £1,you only pay the £1 if Kauto Star wins.If Kauto Star does not win the race then you pay nothing.
Bid refund for all Winners. The Winners of all our sporting event auctions receive a full refund of the cost of all the bids they used to win the auction.
Bid limits. All our auctions have bid limits,so its not about who has the deepest pockets but based on your strategy. In the case of the Kauto Star auction for £100,the bid limit would be 100 bids.
Free Monthly Jackpot. If an event is unsuccessful we do not keep the prize but use this amount to fund the Free Monthly Jackpot Superbid auction. The free monthly jackpot was over €4,000 in December and was auctioned on Monday night with the winner receiving this amount if Nadal wins the Australian open. The monthly jackpot for January currently stands at €2,600 so hopefully it will hit the €10,000 mark by the end of the month. All players qualify for this free monthly jackpot auction with 1 free superbid for every 10 bids used in any of our auctions including bid refund auctions. So in the example of the Kauto Star auction a player who uses 100 bids would earn 10 super bids including the winner of the auction who also gets a full refund of all the bids they used to win that auction. In relation to our bid refund auctions every time a player uses 10 of their 13 free bids they earn 1 Superbid which gives them the opportunity to earn 2 superbids per day without any financial outlay.
Being racing fanatics our plan is to introduce many more horseracing auctions,we currently have 3 per day. We also plan to auction other items such as shares in horses,we’ve already auctioned a 1/8th share in a Nicky Henderson trained Horse and here are the details
