Made a bad mistake early on which looked to knock the stuffing out of her

She’s almost as soft as Gaelic Warrior.

She bled. You can see it in the photo in the Racing Post article, confirmed by the stewards’ report.

Be interested to hear what others think . In NZ and OZ first bleeding attack is 3 months standown , next is lifetime ban . I dont like it , seen some horses with a bit left to give outted .

She had a 67 day break before yesterdays run. Was there a problem or just taking a deserved rest?

She was entered up before that break and I’m only guessing, but I wonder if there was a physical issue causing that gap between runs? She didn’t look at all happy for the short duration she was running yesterday. Not just the broken blood vessel but her jumping too. Hope she can return to winning ways but after yesterday you wouldn’t be at all confident that she will.

I’d refer you back to my post from July 6th.

We may never be given the full disclosure, but from the outside looking in it definitely appeared to me that she’d got the final two flights completely wrong at Market Rasen but still won easily against wholly fallible opposition.

Whether they caused the resultant setback in and of themselves, or else were a symptom of a knock already picked up earlier in the race, again, we might not ever be party to the whole story.

Either way, the 67-day break was almost certainly not by design given the mounting talk of records as her sequence extended, and given the multitude of options still open to her even following reassessment.

As such, I’d been itching for her to reappear, just to see what mileage there was in taking her on. Doing that on Tuesday has been just about all I’ve got right on the punting front this week. She’d obviously have questions to answer if honouring any of this weekend’s many Cartmel entries.

    Your instincts were correct Jeremy
I’m sure of the rules regard bleds but I think I was told once a horse cannot run for 30 days after one?
