Or if not, could some kind soul supply the codes for at least Quote, Italic and Bold so we have the choice to enter them manually

It’s tricky to explain: You need square brackets before the code and square brackets with a forward slash afterwards. Just Google BB Codes and it’ll show you.

We have re-enabled them but it mucks up other stuff. Related to an upgrade in one of the various plug-ins that make the sites bit sand pieces work (or not). But we are not sure which.

Will get some renewed focus on it, probably at the weekend.

It’s no big deal but facilitating quote/bold/italic does make it easier to unscramble posts, particularly those of Gingerleftrightcentre’s on the Russia thread
