    Had a small bet today on 3.20 Fairyhouse. It’s a 7f G3 for fillies + mares.

Pearls Galore’s price has gone and she’s obvious. She’ll probably go out from stall 1 and race very prominent. Valerina Messalina has her ground and 7f should be fine for her, she won the race last year albeit it was on the straight Cork 7f.

In a recent 7f Curragh handicap the newly purchased Marbling was all the rage in the market, Lyons has a good strike rate first time up with new recruits from other yards. Personally watching it, while she had to wait a little, if she was good enough she’d have won it. Best priced 9/1, while the JOB trainer Dilawara is 25/1 for 1/4 of a length. She ran a lovely race at a big price that day and typically JOB’s improve for their first runs, so the price that day doesn’t surprise me. Today’s does, for all she’s 88 against some 105+ fillies here i do see her as one that could run a big race.
She’s drawn wide but i don’t think that’ll matter as hopefully it’ll mean she won’t get stuck on the rail, which could be an issue for the held up lower drawn horses.

Mark Gallagher wouldn’t exactly lift me off my seat, but he does ride for a wide array of decent trainers so i’m guessing the guy can ride! He’s 1-2 for JOB with 4yos, the winner being a former French trained filly Princesse Mathilde for JOB at 22/1 in the Ulster Oaks.
    Hopefully he continues that trend!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!
