He still looks every inch a champion.
It’s easy to see why Flatterer has been one of Livingston’s favorite subjects.

Doesn’t he look magnificent for such an ancient warrior?
March 16, 2012 at 12:39 #397193Thanks Miss Woodford.
Brings back memories of Flatterer splitting See You Then and Barnbrook Again. When I were a lad.
Such a genuine racehorse, good to see Flatterer enjoying life.
Value Is EverythingMarch 17, 2012 at 01:21 #397368hi that was loverly to see and to be honest that is how all the old horses should be treated i will never have a racehorse but if i ever did when it had retired it would be looked after for life thanks again was nice to see all the pics
March 17, 2012 at 09:37 #397389An enjoyable read, thanks
Anyone care to name other horses who’ve made it to 30. Two is the best I can manage this early in the morning – Riverman and Hyperion who were both Entires.
Given that neutering male mammals tends to increase lifespan, and female mammals tend to live longer anyway there should be at least several examples of thirty-something Geldings and Mares
