Looks to be a fascinating clash at Roscommon on Monday.
Grade 3 Novice chase:

Dylan Ross is making his chasing debut, has very smart form over hurdles and is bred for fences.Baily Green, has shown vast improvement this season, landing a 3 timer over fences and then a contest over hurdles in September. His best quality has been his pinpoint jumping.
The market cant split them, I favour Baily Green for the chasing experience and the way he’s been progressing. Only minor doubt is the heavy ground but I see a 5 timer on the cards here.
<!– s:) –><!– s:) –>Thoughts??

September 30, 2012 at 23:58 #414749Had no idea Dylan Ross was going chasing a fan of this horse i was last year i just hope he finds more off the bit this year rather than last year.
October 1, 2012 at 11:46 #414791If Baily Green can get Dylan Ross off the bridle, that should be enough.
BG has the fitness, the slick jumping and a will to win. There is no guarantee that Dylan Ross will turn up with any of those. Baily Green for me as well.
October 1, 2012 at 17:48 #414838Well done Deeman – Baily Green got the job done nicely there.
Is Dylan Ross okay after that fall though? He seemed to be struggling to lift himself when the camera panned away.
October 1, 2012 at 18:02 #414839Thanks the Young Fella, you were right fitness and good jumping won the race.
Dylan Ross never really jumped that well. I think he’s okay after that fall, bit of a nasty one but seems fine which is good.
Will take to fences in time I expect.October 1, 2012 at 18:25 #414848I’m not sure. Dylan Ross is obviously a deep thinker and might be the type to remember this fall. He didn’t look too keen on racing last season and this bad experience might have blown his mind.
October 1, 2012 at 18:57 #414853I think BG will win. I did think Dylan Ross would win when I backed him but when he fell on his stupid a$$ his chances were greatly reduced to ziltch
That’s anice horse the winner hope they stick him away until the the Xmas New year period to give him a chance to improve more.
Very hard to judge just how good they are in a contest like that when his main danger falls but he won without batting an eyelid.
November 17, 2012 at 17:22 #420169Bally Green has proved a revelation this year.
Tomorrow he faces his toughest test yet in a grade 2 at Punchestown giving lots of weight away to some top class opposition.
Oscars well looks to one to beat at the weights but Jenari and Twinlight look to be improving aswell.
Jenari beat Dylan Ross in a beginners chase by 1 length so there is a formline there with Baily Green.
Would be one hell of a performance if Baily Green won again with a grade 2 penalty against this field, is 5/1 atm. Tempting??

November 18, 2012 at 01:06 #420199Oscars Well was very impressive on his debut, jumping was slick. I expect he’ll be too much for Baily Green, admirable tho he is.
November 18, 2012 at 09:02 #420216I think Twinlight might be the spoiler today and this could prove one step too far. Don’t think that there was much in the tank last time against a horse who was never travelling. Personally, I would have said thanks very much and brought him back for something like the Grand Annual.
November 18, 2012 at 13:28 #420239Good shout with Twinlight Stilvi, he was the first one I ruled out.
