Bit of an odds and sods race with some interesting horses. I love White Birch, and the ease in the ground is perfect for him, but not sure he’ll be quite fit enough. I hope he runs a good race.
I’ve gone for a tiny ew on the weirdo that is Ambiente Friendly at 40s. He should cope with conditions and you never know.
Agreed, GAG; looked like he just got a bit tired in the final quarter mile but then got his second wind and ran on close home. It’ll be interesting to see what he does next time, although I suspect his Group One days are in the rear-view mirror.
White Birch has 300k price tag to run back , on that run its doable in the right races overseas ,Dubai must be the plan in that stable . Winner entered up in Caulfield Cup and live chance , on a good day they wouldnt see where White Birch went in some of these Ozzie staying races .
