2.15 Ripon – Betting graphic shown before and after race.
Chepstow – Only 2 races to show, but decided not to bother anyway.
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
August 31, 2018 at 00:38 #1365324Well as Chepstow was abandoned maybe there wasn’t any need to show the 2 races that were run?
On a side note this is not the first time Chepstow has had ground problems. I know you can’t do much with a waterlogged/unsafe course but I’m surprised they keep getting away with it.
August 31, 2018 at 22:47 #1366727If ATR is considered a racing channel (and not just a betting opportunity facilitator), their first priority should be to show every race from their contracted courses in full, wherever possible.
As Chepstow’s second race was late off, it was shown in split screen. There was plenty of time to show a full replay in full during the live show, but they didn’t.
The review slots should be used to rectify these sort of things. There was a complete slot available at 11.30, but we just got a another repeat of Southwell. So no excuses at all.
Admittedly there had been a definite improvement since the initial move to MK. Not likely to see much changing in the 4 months left and who knows, we might be thankful of what we used to have when Sky Sports Racing starts.
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.

October 21, 2018 at 12:30 #1378280Sunday 14th October
4.45 Chepstow (Silver Trophy) – Race shown was a repeat of the 4 runner Novices’ Chase at 3.35.
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
October 21, 2018 at 13:04 #1378284Saturday 20th October
4.45 Fakenham – Not shown, presumably because the live on course commentary was lost part way through the race. Would have been perfectly possible to add a replacement commentary, or just show the pictures without sound (that’s happened several times when there has been a commentary).
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
October 21, 2018 at 18:06 #1378311Tommo could be heard during the silence saying he had lost pictures but chose not to continue his commentary. He relies entirely on screens as he doesn’t use bins. Very unprofessional.
November 18, 2018 at 12:03 #1380905Saturday 3rd November
4.05 Down Royal – Not shown – fatality.
....and you've got to look a long way back for anything else.
November 18, 2018 at 12:10 #1380906More meetings not shown on the review, primarily due to the preference to show Hong Kong handicaps:

December 14, 2018 at 16:22 #1389262Doncaster today, for the 1.45 they showed a replay of the 1.10.
Would love to think Sky Sports Racing won’t be as incompetent but as it looks to be the same team currently working on ATR I’m not optimistic
