“He’d also already won a group 1 by 10+ lengths and was rated half a stone higher than kyprios.”
Point taken regarding the group 1 win. The higher rating understandable as Kyprios more unexposed coming into this race.
“Order Of St George was beaten four times in Ireland.”
My wording might have confused you, i meant he was doing his winning in Ireland. I was aware he didn’t win all his races.
June 16, 2022 at 13:43 #1602450Mojo Star is the big unknown both at the trip and on the ground (good being the quickest he has run on) and coming here first time out is a big ask but he has looked tapped for toe on a number of runs last season including in the St Leger.
So I will take a chance on this being what he has been crying out for and a little e/w on Burning Victory who looks tailor made for this trip based on her Cesarewitch 2nd when she was a long way clear of the rest.
June 16, 2022 at 14:02 #1602456I’ll be with Earlofthecotswolds here 66-1 ew, but it is merely for interest, as I’m struggling to take a strong view on the market leaders

Used to be ground dependable but seems ok on firm now.
Each way hopes hereJune 16, 2022 at 16:08 #1602521I’ve taken a punt on Tashkhan here.
June 16, 2022 at 16:10 #1602523Mojo has halved in price today.

June 16, 2022 at 16:29 #1602525Oh dear. What a mess
June 16, 2022 at 16:29 #1602526Thought mojo had that then
Just showed 16/1 mojo and 13/8 kyprios was a silly price difference
Wd winners
June 16, 2022 at 16:33 #1602527Great attitude from Kyprios. Looked like he was headed but he really battled.
Not Dettori’s finest hour (again) but I am not convinced he would have beaten Kyprios anyway.
June 16, 2022 at 16:33 #1602528Didn’t look like they went much of a gallop; the horse with speed won….which is disappointing for a staying race.
June 16, 2022 at 16:34 #1602529Ah!
Best horse third.
Mojo just beaten.Value Is EverythingJune 16, 2022 at 16:35 #1602530Probably wouldn’t be wise to set a searing gallop in this heat
June 16, 2022 at 16:35 #1602531Ta all. I never lost faith in the horse despite the AOB indifferent form this week.
Ryan Moore thought Kyprios wasn’t at his best today as his horse wants a strong pace to aim at and the race was messy.
June 16, 2022 at 16:36 #1602532Wd winners.
June 16, 2022 at 16:42 #1602534First Kyprios got in the way then Mojo Star. Not ideal at all.
Hope Stradivarius goes to Goodwood.
Value Is EverythingJune 16, 2022 at 16:42 #1602535Well done Mike.
