    Get In, Needed that today.

I was just praying Havlin would ride for a place instead of attempting to win like last year.

Well done Darren. To call him at 16/1 a year ago is a great feat.
But even more, the fact that Aidan has had his 100th Royal winner and just keeps pouring it on. Ryan again brilliant in a G1 and despite the narrow wins from Scandinavia, this horse only does what it needs to.

What a fantastic race, best of the meeting. :rose:
Well done Scandinavia backers and GM with Sweet William what a great price for him 11/1. :good:
Obviously disappointed that Trawlerman didn’t win but he tried his best and that’s all you can ask..Jac :good:

A storming race between the Scandinavia and Trawlerman. Sweet William, a very decent horse, not quite as good as the first two but really stuck his head down to come clear of the rest.

An epic battle , Trawlerman has ran a monster first time out , it’s a shame with all the Obrien/Gosden nonsense , both should very proud of 2 horses that gave everything

    Great race :good:
Trawlerman lost nothing in defeat, first time out and I think Scandinavia didn’t get the perfect follow through as Moore lost his place early enough

Does anyone know why Trawlerman has been so ill?

Trawlerman was in an intensive care unit during Easter. A rare condition that causes extreme sensitivity to sunlight that put the horse in significant pain. This affected his preparation for the race.

What a fantastic race that was. The stayers, out of fashion as they are, can offer up races that are more absorbing and exciting than most at shorter trips.
