Los Angeles ran a brave race from the front but the fillies have been superior this season and Bluestocking thoroughly deserved her win.
Thoughts with the stricken horse, it brought home how fragile these equine superstars are and cast a shadow over the race.
Haya Zark’s jockey deserves commendation for his swift action in helping to prevent many horses being brought down in the race. I think Continuous was badly hampered in the incident but thankfully came home sound. Jac
