ANY FAV ANY TYPE OF RACE
First race of the day was won by BO Mc Ginty @15/8
the £5.00 stake won £9.35Profit to c/f £561.59
ANY FAV NON HAND UP TO 9 RUNNERS.
The first race to qualify was the 3 00 southwell and the 5/6 fav
Copper Bottomed won @5/6Even after the betfair comm the £10 stake produced a profit of £10.00 (evens)
Profit to c/f +£239.64.
So far there does not seem such a vast difference in the returned s.p.(s)
between the two methods. There is an easy gain to be made between the sp and betfair prices very close to the off even after the max 5% commision though if one used betfair half wisely!February 9, 2008 at 08:03 #141465friday 8 Feb

Do you not have £5 stakes on both methods when it is the first raceFebruary 18, 2008 at 06:35 #144349Arkle
If you see back through these posting I said I would personally be doing this by starting witha £10 stake on non hand races up to 9 runners. The reasoning was that there is according to past statistics much less chance of losing the whole bank as the odds of finding a winning fav in non hand up to 9 runners is much better than the odds of finding a winning fav in any race.
I am also backing the majority of betfair which has enhanced the profits.
The ‘old boy’ does them solely in betting shops and he starts with a £5.00 bet.
