Just two selections on the thread yesterday and a winning forecasts.
So they are running at 75% 3/4 and not the 1 in 20 that I’d anticipated!!
Hopefully here is a little bit more notice of a selection as well

Harry Brown does look rock solid, however in this small field he’ll have to go and do it himself with no cover. The flip side is there could be little or no opposition here.

In the final race at lingfield. won in good style during the week. Actually won going away in a manner which suggested there would be more in the tank if stepping up in trip.
Has to face off a penalty and a potential improver here. But they don’t often defy a penalty but looked to have more than a bit in hand.
First outright winner on the Alexander thread during the week.Didn’t quite wipe it’s face but a five pound trifecta all the same.

A real in and out performer.
Has refused deep into a race and got up to allsorts but still looks about the best of these.
Went well for a way in much better company latest at Cheltenham and while this is more his level, he looks to have an opportunity to do much better here.
Mad about Sally on chase debut the danger and pulled up latest over timber when favourite with an explanation that the ground didn’t suit and “would prefer faster” which is a mystery as win has been on soft.
A placed pointer who is pitching in at about the same level as hurdle mark.

Michael Appleby’s only runner is at the bottom of the weights and gets a big pull on the traverse draw.
Oosj has a half stone pull and is at the opposite end of the spectrum under Mia Nicholls and gets the same pull from the draw.
Two wins for SICARIO under Jamie Osbourne before moving on to Appleby and they have patiently played with his mark. Won at sligo off sixty five for Mark Michael McNiff. Way below that now if getting the trip.

Round up.
Very very cheeky win by the Micheal Appleby horse, SICARIO. Very confidently ridden and kept behind the pace and not put up to challenge until the last moment. Nonchalantly sneaked through to grab the rail, so much so that the second horse’s jockey thought he’d won cosily and relaxed marginally at the line. Job was done and this horse actually won with any amount in hand given his handicap mark. He’ll take his rise and be put away until the next time. Huge variance in his winning marks.
Other Alexander success CONSERVATIVE each way fourth @ 14/1.
Hit the bar with mad about Sally had him in the forecast and highlighted the scenario around his chances from his last run. A very good winner on chase debut.Southwell 4.10
Roger rarebit won with any amount in hand and is unpenalised for the win which was by a wide margin.
This is a race with a huge field and anything could come out of the pack to spring a suprise.
On this fastest ground encountered for a while, could see a decent winning distance.
