Dropped to 59 from 78 since then.
Billy Lee takes the reins for the first time.
Badly out of form but has been pitched in against some very good opponents…Unplaced sister Lola but pleased to finally start this thread in earnest.
Just a few selections in this vein and not all out and out Alexanders but they will meet one category or the criteria at least.

The turnaround is nearly a stone and Micheal Appleby is adept at getting improvement into his runners.

He is definitely not the yard’s leading light in this race with three other highly fancied runners involved.

I’ve taken 40/1 although he could well go off a much bigger price.
He’s an Alexander because although he is not expected to do well, he has the form to get into the money wheras a couple of the favourites are not gauranteed to even get this trip.
He belongs to wealthy owners whose horses despite not always being brilliantly ridden on occasions are making the frame. 8/14 runners running into the frame since 14th January.
