    It really is hard to take an individual’s opinion seriously if s/he thinks Michael McAlister was unfairly treated.

    Not sure what it’s about. Talks of Lavelle as being a victim, so presumably the Express is a newspaper from a parallel universe where house prices are still rising and an unremarkable car crash from the last millenium is still the main news item.
