I couldn’t believe Tidal Bay wasn’t 6/4 favourite to be honest. He was my banker I had him ten pounds clear on my ratings and thats after taking into account the conditions of the race. Wasn’t going to jinx myself as I seem to do every time I put something on here lol. I got 5/2 which I am really please about 8l win didn’t surprise me at all. Forgive me if I sound a bit pleased with myself but I had a disappointing Cheltenham so I’m happy to be making up for it.
Lost on Our Vic but Katchit and Tidal Bay were winners. Can’t complain two out of three ain’t bad and a tidy profit.
Performance of the day – Got to be Might Man who absolutely demolished Black Jack and Inglis Drever, also Exotic Dancer who looked majestic even though most of the field didn’t run to form.

April 12, 2007 at 16:47 #51151By the way – Another innacurate going report surely. Times have been way below standard in every race so far. Good to soft by the look of it.
April 12, 2007 at 18:19 #51152I went close with Marshall Hall, second in the Red Rum Chase. He started a winning run off a mark of 89, but his jumping looked so good that it does surprise me in the slightest that he’s made such progress.
April 12, 2007 at 19:21 #51153This thread should be called
"How much has everywon one/lost today please"!
I had Bambi de L’Orme and 6 losers
April 12, 2007 at 20:45 #51154I had no bet but nice to see Where now whom i brought to the sales (my aunt bred him) run so well over the national fences.
He repaid me that day by nearly breaking my pelvis with his front leg right in front of Noel Meade.

April 12, 2007 at 21:01 #51155I backed Ned Kelly to small stakes and didn’t really get a run for my money, well not to worry there’s always tomorrow.;)
April 12, 2007 at 21:37 #51156I had BJK, and the very disappointing Roll Along.
On the plus side, I had enough on Exotic Dancer to just about cover myself.
April 12, 2007 at 22:21 #51157I did ok on the first day with Katchit/Punjabi forecast, (£6.70)…Tidal Bay (single bet) and the forecast with Wins Now (£14.36), lost with Andreas, Kicks For Free and Exotic Dancer/Turpin Green forecast :(
I landed some nice bets at Leicester though and will concentrate more on Folkestone and Southwell tomorrow as Aintree looks tricky. ;)
April 12, 2007 at 22:26 #51159Believe it or not I had four winners. I had the first three as well as Bambi. Being the muppet I am however my lowest bet was on Bambi. Big bets of the day included. Liberate and Burnt Oak Boy(won for me at cheltenham). I got word for Fable e.way) in the foxhunters and fancied Alph who looked all the winner coming to the first. Most frustrating/idiotic days gambling of my life. I have a hell of a lot to learn to be honest. First lesson of not needing to have a bet in every race and second lesson of not needing to up stakes to crazy amounts when im on a roll. They are my biggest downfalls.
On another note anyone know where I could see a replay of the races on the net without giving the post my wage?
April 12, 2007 at 23:31 #51160How anyone contrived to lose today is beyond me, but I somehow achieved the impossible.
However, had Liam Treadwell studied at the temple of Tony McCoy and not the University of Greville Starkey, I would have been eating fillet steak tonight and not a Beef pot noodle with a Ski yoghurt for pudding.
April 13, 2007 at 00:35 #51164I didn’t have a bet today .. so I probably won more than everyone .. ;)
April 13, 2007 at 06:52 #51167Was working so recorded the racing and put an ‘interest’ canadian on the first five races to watch with a few beers when I got back.
Was getting fairly lairy after the first 3 all came in but then Drombeag and Hasty Prince brought me back down to earth.
Still made a small profit.

It’s free at the moment for Aintree at the RP.
April 13, 2007 at 14:53 #51170I had one win double on Exotic Dancer and Katchit…
One bet today on De Soto.. Crying out for this trip (Hopefully!!!)
April 13, 2007 at 15:48 #51171Never mind!!! I’ll just have to pick the national winner!!! ;)
