AOB is wearing a very fetching Blackbeard baseball cap and jacket on RTV. Wonder if he can send it to Nathan once he’s done?
I was hoping to get his mobile phone case once he’s done with it. But I guess, AOB is the type of person who never uses protection. He takes so much care of his things, there is no need for a protecting case.

Mr Waterville fronts up today in the Metrop at Randwick . Off the minimum and well into the long handicap at least 2400 will suit him better , gone okay first two races this prep over distances way too short . By my calculations cost about 815000 AUD , has earnt 11000 , first prize today 750000 odd so a win will take a chunk out of that .

If he was French, no. He’d race away over hurdles and the Flat, possibly even over fences, then get some small books of NH mares till they worked out if he was any good as a sire or not.
But in Britain and Ireland the crime of not winning a G1 gets you your bollocks chopped off, generally speaking. Only a small number of sires get to contribute to the ever-shrinking gene pool here. Then we wonder why all the Cheltenham winners have French names.
Or they’re sired by 12F G1 winners.
