Disappointing turnout of 7 runners. Quick run through wiz an opinion or two.
Romantic Style 7/4 – Meydan 6f listed win was a weak race but won easy in a good time. Too short but likeable.
Sajir 9/2 – Round about this level, won on comeback, runner up didn’t advance the form, too short.
Lethal Levi 15/2 – Good back form on July course, finished 2024 strongly, dangerous.
Apollo One 8/1 – Group 3 winner last run, not a strong one, respected.
Royal Zabeel 9/1 – 7f AW listed winner lto, can’t see him winning this.
Run To Freedom 9/1 – Off since this race last year, doesn’t tend to run well here, will drift.
Grand Grey 14/1 – My selection. Has some interesting bits of form and now switched to Kevin Ryan from some Italian guy. Trainer won this last year, this one entered in York group 2. Worth a punt.
