It’s five years ago since Balcormo Mains closed down and moved 60 miles away leaving me without a point to point track within reasonable travelling distance.
So I was delighted this morning to see in the Dundee courier that a new track is opening just outside Leuchars. Racing will start next year on the traditional Balcormo date of the Saturday after the Perth festival.
I did read about this somewhere else a while back – quite something in the current climate.
What is the exact legal status of hunting in Scotland at the present time?

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"
Funnily enough Ian the couple who are creating the course have founded a pack of bloodhounds who chase human prey rather than foxes. I’m assuming the humans are volunteers.
It seems the way ahead as hunting is banned in Scotland although there do seem to be loopholes in the law.
