Have a go at this. Here are the rules.

1. Flat only (turf or all-weather, does not matter).

2. Pick races with the lowest number of runners for the day (pick this at around 11-12 in the morning to take into account the non-runners).

3. If there are more than one race with the same number of runners, pick the first one that starts that day.

4. Only one race per day.

5. Bet on the favourite and 2nd favourite to win.

6. Only bet if the odds for the favourite are better than evens.

7. Use Seagull’s ‘doubling up’ stake plan, putting the same on both the favourite and 2nd favourite. If the favourite wins. go back to the start of the stake plan. If 2nd loses it doubles up and vice versa.

8. Using best available Betfair price, here is today’s result. I’ll trial this for a month or two to see where we go.
