A few of the legends, I missed them last year as I was stuck in traffic so it was a nice bonus to get to see them all.

March 24, 2015 at 15:58 #866617They’re great pics, Nathan. It can’t have been easy to get such a clear vantage point for them…I’m guessing you have quite a few you couldn’t use!
March 24, 2015 at 16:04 #866635Great pics Nathan !! I am amazed you could get such clear views!!!
March 24, 2015 at 17:43 #866921Thanks for the photos Nathan, good to see you back in business here.
Some cracking pics and I am particularly glad to see L’Ami Serge there because he was a no-show in the actual race itself and I was wondering if the horse actually existed or not. One good thing about the speed he was going was that you wouldn’t have needed a special lens to take photos of him at the gallop

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
March 24, 2015 at 19:52 #866932Thanks guys, I guess I get a good vantage point as I just stay around the paddock and pre parade ring all day and only move for a toilet break or drink. I watch the races on the big screen as I don’t enjoy it out in the stands with all those rowdy civilians packed in like sardines. L’Ami Serge looked the part walking around the paddock Steve but that’s where it ended for him.

March 24, 2015 at 20:08 #866936The Champion Hurdle was a success for me with backing Faugheen Ante post from October onwards in some nice winning doubles and even managed to place lay Jezki and The New One. (I want to use the smiley with the dancing man with the open mouth but am on strike until Mr Green returns)

And together they pondered what ever happened to:- The Likely Lads, White Dog Dirt, The Casual Vomit, The Lad’s Hair and The New One’s Turn Of Foot?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
March 24, 2015 at 22:33 #866995Terrific photos Nathan! What an awesome festival it was. Especially nice to see some of the old stars. They look in fine form.

He was very alert, when he came from the stables to the pre parade ring he stopped when going under the tunnel where you come face to face with the spectators and he had a good look around and likewise when walking around the paddock his lad had a job in keeping him straight as he was more interested in the crowd and kept turning side on to have a good look, he wasn’t pulling or anything just seemed inquisitive.

April 2, 2015 at 23:00 #872077You really captured the atmosphere of that first day Nathan with those great shots.
Have to agree Faugheen certainly is a Faugheen of beauty, what an intelligent looking
head he has, closely followed by Vautour who was my pin up boy of the Festival.
Thanks for the wonderful memories of one of the best Cheltenhams for a long time.
