Nah, I think Stilvi still.
I’ll only open it if Azmeel wins a Classic.

Meydan racecard here:
January 26, 2010 at 17:28 #272187ha…..i been looking through the Derby Entries and there is a few interesting pedigree’s i wanted to post.
Stilvi whereever you are start a new thread hehe
Thanks btw for Meydan cards
January 26, 2010 at 17:38 #272190Wallace, are you talking about Derby entries for 2011?
January 26, 2010 at 17:40 #272192Yup
January 26, 2010 at 18:56 #272208A question for Zarkava how do you rate Sagacious as a horse to win the Epsom Oaks.
And Wallace you are mad looking at the Derby 2011 i have not even looked at it yet.
January 26, 2010 at 18:57 #272209Darren the NH boring me to a standstill……I need the flat back. Its just so slow moving.
Not so much looking at the Derby of 2011 but so much as seeing the 2yr old this year.
Anyways we all know St Nicholas Abbey is the Derby Winner
January 26, 2010 at 23:40 #272289I’d agree with that, Wallace. As I see it only Workforce can mount a challenge.
Darren – stop asking for other people’s approval and go with your gut. You need to have more confidence! The Oaks entries are out in about 6 weeks, I’ll have a proper look then.

I am a very condfident person i been back backing Sagacious fo the Oaks for the last 3months. Reason i ask other people is i like to know what they think of the horse as well.
And i hope you are all right on ST Nicholas Abbey winning the Derby. I as i backed him a day after his debut at 25/1.I just hope he goes for a Derby trail and not the 2000 guineas
February 4, 2010 at 22:24 #274035Once I Hear You’ll Be Mine is okay and has wintered well.
I am seriously going for a antepost bet at 20/1.
For me this is a absoulute stonking bet….after all she was a unlucky loser in the Fillies Mile.
Looks like a Alexandrova Filly…..who will explode on the scene as a 3yr old
February 4, 2010 at 22:44 #274039Disagree, Wallace. I’ll watch the race again but my instinct was that she was a very lucky 3rd. My 1000 Guineas horse Sent For Heaven was badly hampered and could easily have finished 3rd with a clear run.
February 4, 2010 at 22:59 #274043
No Zarkava….don’t disagree. I just thinking of the Horses he has sent to that Race. Listen(injured as a 3yr) and Alexandrova…his 2 best 1m4f fillies other than Peeping Fawn who didnt race as a 2yr old have been in this race the past 5 years.
I think she is the AOB filly for the Oaks…….was looking at Cabaret before but she was injured at Longchamp.
Can’t see her out of the first 3 at the Oaks
February 4, 2010 at 23:54 #274049Yeah I’ve just watched the race again and have absolutely no idea how she can be called unlucky. The obvious unlucky one is, as I said, Sent From Heaven.
Fair observation about Alexandrova and Listen, although not sure how the latter can be called one of O’Brien’s best fillies over 12f when she never ventured further than a mile… Kingmambo’s have done very well at Epsom in recent years. Rule of Law 2nd, Virginia Waters 4th and Light Shift 1st. The only other one was Archipenko (trailed in last, but that run can easily be overlooked IMO).
February 5, 2010 at 11:25 #274105Wallace where do you see Sagacious coming in the Oaks i think this horse is a bit special. And her best form it yet to come.
February 5, 2010 at 12:23 #274117are you sure sagacious will stay the oaks trip ?
her full sister shreyas struggled to win a 1m4f raceFebruary 5, 2010 at 13:23 #274127Sorry Zark….shouldnt have put 1m4f fillies just Fillies in the general meaning. Halfway to Heaven was a Irish Guineas horse so i can leave that one away from my thoughts.
I just think it was a very solid performance…i don’t know really any other of the Fillies i just know she will stay 1m4f and will improve.
"Sister to 1m2f winner King Of Westphalia and half-sister 7f 2yo winner Born T Be A King; dam won 7f Moyglare and second in Irish 1,000, Oaks and Irish Oaks, sister to Irish 1,000 winner Yesterday and Oaks third All My Loving."
Her Pedigree excites me thus my confidence
February 5, 2010 at 13:27 #274130Regarding that Bolger filly……its wait and see.
It isn’t owned by him which means he will not decide where it goes. My Guess is she may not go to the English Oaks…maybe a 2nd half of the season filly.
Bolger said that was it for the year after her debut and he never says that. She could be growing etc and Broodmare is probaly very critical for her owners with such a flashy pedigree.
No risks will be taken
February 5, 2010 at 14:49 #274141Remember When ran a cracking debut at Leapardstown and could be another for my Oaks List. Problem is she is by Danehill Dancer but is entered in the Oaks.
"Closely related to top-class middle-distance performer Dylan Thomas (7f winner at 2) and half-sister to outstanding 2yo/7f 3yo winner Queen´s Logic and 1m winner Chatifa; dam placed 1m2f-12.7f"
But she stayed 7f on Heavy and was as a 2yr old and the penny started to drop the further she went.
Going by the Irish Oaks entries it does look a rather weak division. There are a lot of exposed horses with high RP ratings
