Teolane very impressive but just how good Reply is who knows.
Check out the bloodstock section i have a quick thing on all of Galileo’s and Montjeu 2yr olds with Coolmore. They have nearly all the good one’s. Some horse’s to look out for.
June 8, 2011 at 12:26 #359547Have there been any french 2yos out yet Zark. And any you looking out for this season that have not run in France yet.
Any news when Born To Sea will run as well i don’t think Oxx not had a 2yo runner yet.
June 8, 2011 at 17:26 #3596152 good maidens at Foxrock 2moro night.
Thinking that Tenth Star will win the 2nd maiden while the first maiden looks tricky.
June 9, 2011 at 17:53 #359791Had Eastern Sun today
Liked the manner of his win and looks a fine prospect.

I’m not really taking a long-term view on any 2yos as I’m going travelling for several months in August. I won’t be able to dedicate any meaningful time to it so it’s pretty pointless. I was hunting around for my Royal Ascot 2yos, and I’ve found my Coventry (Gatepost), Norfolk (Silverheels) and Queen Mary (Dozy) horses, so I’m not too bothered about anything else.
June 9, 2011 at 22:21 #359838Bolger’s Zip Top looks well above average. An all american pedigree bound to be one of his better horse’s
June 9, 2011 at 22:46 #359840Is it just me or do Bolger’s 2 year old’s all look on the whole much better than previous years?
June 9, 2011 at 22:48 #359843They are very good….he has invested in all new stallions.
June 16, 2011 at 18:19 #361021What you guys think of the 2yo races at Ascot this week. And on a non Ascot theme just to say that
HARBOUR WATCH and RUBINA were both impressive on debuts as well.
June 22, 2011 at 21:19 #362099Irish derby this week will we see any good 2yos this making there debuts. And thoughts on the Railway stakes as well.
June 23, 2011 at 11:00 #362161Electric Qatar in the 2nd race at Newcastle today. Extremely highly rated by Dascombe and given a very hot write-up in Taplin’s books. Should win comfortably. No price at 10/11 though, so not a betting proposition.

If it can’t lose then 10/11 is value.
June 23, 2011 at 15:05 #362194The above horse metioned lucks to have it up against him after that debut. If he can’t win a tin pot race at Newcastle i am afraid he be eaten alive by the big Newmarket Stables.
Very Disappointing….didn’t luck very genuine when the rider went for him with the whip.

June 23, 2011 at 23:33 #362266Don’t follow British Racing closely except for Group 1 races.
The oxx Horse was impressive but the runner up of AOB is a dog of the highest order. Just completely folded in the last furlong. That was not tiredness just a lack of any conviction when the chips were down.

Tom Dascombe is a very good judge of juveniles, and if he says that Electric Qatar is his best one, then Electric Qatar is his best one. Just looked very green in the final 2 furlongs, hanging away from the whip and was probably idling in front. The winner and runner-up came up the middle of the course, well away from him.
I would be stunned if he couldn’t win next time out before going into Group company.
June 28, 2011 at 13:57 #362746What you guys think of the 2yo races at Irish derby weekend.I was impressed by David Livingston.Could be a derby horse though it is a long way to go.
Have any you guys heard of Camelot is 50/1 unraced horse of AOB
Ruby don’t forget horses like like Pour Moi,Carlton House,Sea Moon started there carears at not great tracks.Harbour Watch was a very impressive winner beating horses who had a run on bad ground. You can see his debut at sportinglife website.
