This is a risky approach, as he might just bomb out, but at 33-1, I have taken an early ew bet on The Lir Jet.

I was going to bet Supremacy right after this, but 8-1 was a bit skinny this far out. There definitely wasn’t any bigger available, so I just left it. I see Hills have put him in at 12-1. I’ve taken a small bet at those odds.

    Very nice performance though.

Hopefully the turbo boost will be in good working order today on his first run back. :-)

Looks nailed on today really, major disappointment if he can’t beat this lot

    Campanelle for me

Took 10/1 a few weeks back

    She looked exceptional last season

Darren has a cracking price at 25s

I was expecting supremacy to be shorter once method and jumby were pulled

Wonder how fit he is, he certainly took a big step forward from his debut at 2

Well that was awful from Supremacy

My one question mark on him was that he’s by mehmas and might not train on

And thats why I favoured campanelle

Thats either the case or he wasn’t fit at all for today

He has a huge amount to prove now

Very keen on the French filly Suesa at 6/1 here.

She’s beaten absolutely nothing so far in France but is 4 from 4 and all of the wins have been easy. Think she’s just a little bit special and it doesn’t look a great renewal on paper.

Goes well fresh and seems very uncomplicated (although perhaps would be an unknown on genuinely quick ground if it stays dry). She’s very very quick in her stride but the way she travels through her races before even having to quicken screams to me a filly who is both top class and who will be suited to a straight 6f big field. Quite happpy to smash into the 6s as I reckon she’s probably a 7/2 poke in a fortnights time.

    Sacred 25’s
Will be suited by strong pace
Ran well enough in guineas and pre guineas but like this distance as preference for her

    Supremacy update from trainer…

“His comeback run was way below expectations and his blood was less than perfect when he returned home. I hope a sounder surface will see a recovery of last year’s form. He has a Commonwealth Cup entry and that will probably be our next target. I am very pleased with the way he has trained especially through the last week.”

What a stupid rule that geldings can’t run. Its not the bloody Derby.

I’m on Dragon Dancer at 8’s, but I can’t leave Miss Amulet alone at 28’s on Betfair. Perfectly willing to forgive her run on bottomless over a mile LTO, and think the ground should be perfect for her tomorrrow. I’m expecting just on the soft side of good, ‘Yielding’ in Irish.

Her only two raids on England thus far have resulted in a cosy G2 win, and a never-nearer eye catching 2nd in a Group 1 to Alcohol Free. Her raid on Yankee land resulted in a G1 3rd place at the Breeders Cup, so it is fair to say this lady enjoys some travel.

The low draw is a LARGE concern, but I feel there is enough value factored in to the 28’s so I’m happy to chance it.

    Dragon Dancer – 2 pts e/w @ 8/1 (Bet365)
Miss Amulet – 2 pts win @ 28/1 (Betfair Exchange)
Miss Amulet – 2 pts place @ TBC (Betfair Exchange)
