Thanks BigG. I think Saturday punters in particular have an aversion to apprentices, probably forced the price out temporarily from 16/1 to around 22/1 on course… and betfair layers tend to offer around 1% better than on course… Before shortening again.

Must say commiserations to VTC, feel for you – possibly without hanging would’ve won -pipped on the line on Justanotherbottle.
Unlucky all Growl backers too, from what I saw more held up than the other principles and may well have won with a stronger pace.

Feel bloody lucky. Not only with the result. My GF arrived just before the off – a few minutes earlier and probably wouldn’t have seen the 31/1 (took a bit bigger than that too). Might have had to accept just the earlier 16’s.

Absolute sickener for you Degaussed, I know that Bobby will be feeling the pain too, he
