“Faugheen lay of the festival for me now at 2/1. One of the best lays in a few years actually. I can explain if anyone wants me to but you can probably guess all of the reasons why and there’s quite a few.”

“7/2 buveur d’air for the champion hurdle is the best bet for about 5 years.
Faugheen has zero chance of running at its peak in Cheltenham. 1) because he’s had too many fitness issues and 2) because he will be 10 years old.”

    “**Offical Prediction** (15th December)
Buveur D’air wins pretty easily and Faugheen finishes 4th and retires.
Mullins says he wasn’t himself etc. His fans say he was 80% fit and at his peak was the next coming of Jesus.
BD will win 3 champion hurdles in a row and still no one will ever give him credit for being monster.
Geraghty thinks he could be one of the best ever and I totally agree with him.
People will say 3/1 was a crazy price against Faugheen who had about 6 question marks to overcome. Which must be a record number of question marks surrounding a 7/4 shot.
Happy retirement Faugheen you were a decent champion in your prime but not one of the greats of you ask me”

    BABOOOOOOOM :yahoo:

Firstly “pretty easily”? Good luck with that!

Secondly, Faugheen hasn’t retired yet, so i don’t know what you’ve got confused with.

Thirdly, 7/2 shot is hardly sorting your pension out for life is it!?

    :good: :negative:

Get on Faugheen next run then son lmao

I’m not even going to bring up the quotes from you earlier in season about Faugheen. Embarrassing mate.

Ohhhhhh buvuer D’air didnt win ‘pretty easily’ does that mean I don’t get paid out as much? hahahahahaha
More than your Faugheen bets lol

Does babooom mean I’ve won enough to retire? Haha no?

I would have retired though had Shantou flyer won yesterday.

I really don’t care if I end up kicked from this group. My selections provide way more winners than the group supplies me with. I’m better off on my own lol. You’re just a bitter guy jack.

And you’re one of the worst tipsters I’ve ever seen on here. I’m sure you’re a yorkhill fan too

For what it’s worth, i didn’t have a penny on Faugheen, i backed Mick Jazz E/W.

I am not bitter in the slightest, i come on this forum for proper discussion on racing, and sadly, i don’t get it from you….

Buveur D’Air battled well to win yesterday, showed a great attitude.

Melon has stepped up on his previous form, and so has Mick Jazz, but that probably means BDA has underperformed.

Haha this isn’t a political debate we don’t have to all sit around and be diplomatic about everything we say like the TV pundits pal.
I make plenty of valid points and sometimes it’s in a provocative way yeah but i prefer that.
We had a proper debate back in December about BD/ Faugheen and sadly I was right and you were wrong and now it wasn’t a ‘proper’ debate.

We both won then nice one pal👍🏻

I will also apologise though jack for the sarcastic response to your initial reply, it wasn’t necessary but neither was your first reply to be fair.

At the end of the day we are clearly both very passionate about racing. And hopefully we can have a proper discussion in the future

Didn’t say it was a matter of diplomacy, just simple discussion on forums, and not bad mouthing….but that must be your level which is fair enough

I was wrong on Faugheen coming back, it’ll be interesting to see him upped to 3miles, personally i am not sure that’ll work either.

The horses best form still slams BDA..BDA will probably win more CHs because he’s less fragile, won’t mean he’s the horse with more actual ability.

Be realistic, Melon and Mick Jazz finished close to BDA….

You’re the first person I’ve personally bad mouthed on here so I apologise. I bad mouth horses a lot though lol
If that’s my level than it’s yours too because your initial reply was just as offensive so you must just be a hypocrite.
I’m pretty sure Faugheen will actually retired this season.
Mate Buveur Dair was bad yesterday definitely agree that he ran no where near 170’s! I do think it was the worst I’ve seen him jump for a while though.
He hasn’t reached the scales or ratings of Faugheen yet or hurricane fly after that performance. I actually think last seasons win was a better rating. There is still time though he is pretty young and could show us even more in time.
