December 22, 2018 at 20:33 #1390031Well done Bobby what a fantastic looking horse he is and hard to believe that just over 3 years ago he was winning over 1m1f at Gowran Park owned by Sheik Hamdam..made it all look so easy…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...December 23, 2018 at 00:26 #1390048Nice one Bobby, 25/1 was well ahead of the SP. I didn’t see any of the races today, spent
most of it on the travel down to Statford. I stuck my bets on this morning before I left,
and backed all 5 of my competition bets. Fortunately for me Mohaayed (in Pat’s Saturday
handicap competition) saved my bacon as the rest bombed. I’ve just watched the race, and
he looks fairly decent on that running. Hills boosted 20s to 22s so it gives a bit of
ammunition for the festive racing. I’ve just heaped a bit more on Bristol De Mai at 13/2
for the King George and taken the 33s with Hills for the KG GC double

Graham. Hope it was a good journey. You probably had a better day than me, I was working. It was a long day lol
Good luck with BDM, think we’ll see a different horse from last years renewal, and I nearly went with him, but went with Native River and Coneygree. If Coneygree gets pulled, I’ll jump onto Bristol.
December 23, 2018 at 01:15 #1390052Good luck with them Bob, Coneygree may be 11 going on 12, but he’s only run 6 times since
his GC win in 2015. He looked well last time out at Cheltenham leading for most of the
race, and it wasn’t surprising he tired at the death as it was his comeback race after
a year off and he was giving heaps of weight away. It could be a pointer that it was the
only race that day that was won in under standard time. If he has come on from that, and
more importantly if he is sound, he’s no forlorn hope. I started typing this with the
intention of saying he’s tempting, but I’ve just talked myself into having a go.
33s e/w it is then
December 23, 2018 at 08:31 #1390059Well done, VTC !
I had a strange, pre Christmas head rush and backed the Noonan / Pipe horse.
On a different note, I thought it was an interesting run from Janika earlier on the card. Jacob gave it far too much ground to make up but then that has protected it’s handicap mark…

Tryptych, not sure about this but possibly he could be the first 2000 Guineas runner ever to win at Cheltenham.
