Pat, I thought I would bring this bet forward as it was hidden away in the December Thread
that got caught up in the Forum Changeover.

    Fingers crossed he runs.

Sorry Jac but unfortunately Sovereign Debt has been withdrawn from the Lincoln. Gutted for you after he ran so well recently. Looks like he’s either going to Dubai on World Cup night or Lingfield on Good Friday. I know where I would go if I was the owner.

Thanks Pat…Yep I knew my fate soon after I posted that  Still he’s definitely one to keep an eye on and he deserves to go for the bigger prize. I rarely back ante post but this time I did so lesson learnt, just wish him good luck for the season. :good:

Congratulations to Wyldesyde who led virtually from start to finish thanks to Baccarat in the Wokingham @ 16-1 and Bronze Angel in the Cambridgeshire @ 20-1. Triptych finishes second after 5 winners including Slade Power in the July Cup @ 7-2, Taghrooda in the King George also @ 7-2 and Silviniaco Conti in the King George Chase @ 8-1. The rest of us bagged some decent priced winners with Gingertipster picking Treve in the Arc @ 4-1, Nathan picking Noble Mission in the Champion Stakes @ 14-1 and Faugheen in the Champion Hurdle @ 5-1, RedRum picking The Wow Signal in the Coventry @ 10-1 and finally Pat found Rajdhani Express in the Topham @ 14-1. Well done everyone on finding those winners but it shows how difficult it is to find a profit.

Well done Wyldesyde brilliant tipping, it’s not easy to make a profit Ante Post, definitely glad I don’t do it for real.

Thanks to Pat for continually updating the Leaderboard and sorting out the queries :good:

I find the scoring a bit confusing couldn’t we have an easier to score Ante Post Competition say each player is given 100 points = to £100 to spend anyway he/she chooses on any Ante Post Race up to The Derby next year and once the 100 points are spent obviously you sit back and wait for the results…the player with the most profit is the winner..so simple even I could do it.. Jac
PS..Non Runners are lost points just like betting for real.

Sounds good to me Jac. Shall we say no compulsory races and 100 points to spend as you wish. Will there be a limit for each race say 1pt ew or 2pts win as before or something different. I guess we need to finalise something pretty sharpish before Royal Ascot.

Yes Pat I think best we limit each bet to 2points win or 1pt each way as the points would disappear pretty swiftly putting on 10 points etc, and you could have a max of 2 horses in each selected race either win or each way.
Getting rid of all the compulsory races, bonus points etc will make scoring so much easier and players could keep a tally of their points as they spend them to help the score at the end of each month.

Do you think 100 points is enough? That works out to 50 races so it should be okay or would you want to make it 120 points.

Anyway I’m definitely in for Royal Ascot if everyone else is..Jac :good:
