Hello everyone and thanks for your support for Marjorie, and me. I’m just in
from the hospital, I never thought doing nothing, well sitting on a chair for
hours, could be so exhausting. This is a brief update as to where we’re at as
I’ve not been on here a lot recently.
Marjorie is being moved tomorrow to a specialist unit, a Neuro Rehab Unit, so
we are going to be a while before we can think about getting home. The neurologist
explained the unit only has a few beds as it’s a collection of specialists, Neurologists,
Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists all working as a team on individual patients.
I’ve to be in for 8am and bring Marjorie’s CPAP machine. They are going to draw blood from
her hand to check the level of Carbon Dioxide in her blood first thing.
This is all new to me, we had initially hoped Marjorie would be home by now, but if it’s
to Marjorie’s benefit, we’ll tough it out for however long it takes.
I hope everyone is keeping well, I hope Dave is improving Jac and Moe I’ve read back a bit
to catch up, You’re going through a lot yourself, I hope they get that knee seen to.
